Alpha Phi Omega takes pride in providing a large mix of social events to our calendar. We hold events based around our service calendar that range from a small lunch outing after a service project to a fraternity-sponsored formal event.
Our typical events include Mountain Weekend, game nights, movie nights, dinner outings, and a Formal at the end of every semester where we present our awards.
During the fall, we enjoy cheering on our Clemson Tigers together. We have a tailgate prior to every football game where brothers can meet, eat, and relax before and after the game. We also host numerous baseball tailgates in the spring. For more questions, please contact our 3rd Vice President of Fellowship, who is responsible for planning and organizing our various social events.

CLEMSON TAILGATES
On the Saturday home football games (in the fall) and baseball games (in the spring), the brotherhood often comes together to tailgate and root for our Tigers! Here, we engage in games of cup pong and bags/cornhole, enjoy a delicious cookout, and socialize before the games. Some brothers sit together at the games -- and those who don't go to the games will host a watch party in our lounge!

MOUNTAIN WEEKEND
At the beginning of the fall semester, the brotherhood will journey out into the mountains for a fun bonding experience! We rent out a house for the weekend where brothers can lounge around with their friends, or venture into the wild for an enriching nature walk. We typically have our Mountain Weekend in the Smoky Mountains in Gatlinburg, TN!
SERVICe & SOCIAL
What's a community service project without some fun? Some of our projects have a fellowship aspect tagged onto them, which makes them even more exciting! Some of the service and socials we have done include:
Y-beach clean up and beach party
Project Linus and movie night
Botanical gardens clean up and group hike
We are planning many more service and socials for the future, so make sure to check them out!
Formal & Semi-Formal
At the end of the semester, the brotherhood gets dolled up to celebrate our wonderful successes! We eat a lovely dinner, and then present certain brothers with formal awards and install the new executive board. We also show off the success of the newly inducted pledge class and pledges and their bigs exchange gifts!
Afterwards, we hit downtown for our semi-formal! For semi, we all join at a bar that APO rents out for the night for some socializing, live music, karaoke, and informal awards. All in all, we assure that our brothers have a wonderful evening where we can celebrate a semester of leadership, friendship, and service.
D.I.Y. NIGHTS AND MORe
The fellowship committee puts a great deal of work into planning fun nights for the brotherhood to enjoy at their leisure. If you'd like to see one happen, you are highly encouraged to plan it (it's easy)! Some of the various fellowship events we have had include:
